FROM CONTRACT TIL CLOSING (3 HOURS CE)

This is a 3 hour CE approved course (1 hour contract/1 hour legal updates with flood/1 hour real estate related-contracts)  We go through the process step-by-step after the contract is ratified up until closing, examining the roles of the agents, lenders, settlement agents and more.  This course will help you answer client questions about the closing process.  

BUYER WORKSHOP (2 HOURS CE)

This is a 2 hour CE approved course (2 hours real estate related).  In this course we discuss how to market to buyers, the initial buyer client meeting, how to handle showings, tips on writing and negotiating contracts, and how to get referrals from your past buyers.  

LISTING WORKSHOP PART 1 (2 HOURS CE)

This is a 2 hour CE approved course.  This is the first in a two-part series aimed at making you a better listing agent. Part 1 focuses on how to prepare for the listing appointment, how to create a CMA, how to price your listing correctly, and how to properly advise your client on preparing their home for market. 

LISTING WORKSHOP PART 2 (2 HOURS CE)

This is a 2 hour CE approved course. The second part of the listing workshop helps you understand the role of the listing agent after the listing agreement is signed.  We will discuss gathering information for MLS and marketing, programming your Supra lock box and Showing Time, how to communicate with clients, how to get price reductions and extensions, how to deal with a home that won't sell, and more.

STICKS AND BRICKS - UNDERSTANDING NEW CONSTRUCTION (3 HOURS CE)

This is a 3 hour course CE approved course (real estate related)  This course is taught live on a new home construction site.  We discuss in detail how a home is built from the top to the bottom.  RE/MAX Action Supervising Broker Derek Radtke will provide a hands-on opportunity for Realtors to learn about building a home.  Wear some comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.  

16 Hour CE License renewal package (16 HOURS CE)

This is a two-day license renewal course broken into four separate modules.    These modules collectively meet your biannual CE requirements for license renewal and have 3 hours ethics and standard of conduct, 2 hours Fair Housing, 1 hour legal updates, 1 hour agency, 1 hour real estate contracts, and 8 hours real estate related.


CE Day 1 morning session comes with 4 hours of mandatory CE including 3 hours of ethics (including the NAR quadrennial ethics requirement) and 1 hour agency. 


CE Day 1 afternoon session comes with 4 hours of mandatory CE including 1 hour contracts, 1 hour legal updates with flood, and 2 hours of real estate related. 


CE Day 2 morning session comes with 4 hours of mandatory CE including 2 hours of Fair Housing, 1 hour legal updates with flood, and 1-hour real estate related (appraisal).


CE Day 2 afternoon session comes with 4 hours of mandatory CE including 4 hours of real estate related CE covering contracts, agency/brokerage requirements, and mortgage.

UNDERSTANDING THE LISTING AGREEMENT

This is a 2 hour course in which we explain the local listing agreement.  We will discuss the differences between standard agency, limited service, and independent contractor listing agreements.  We will also discuss the seller disclosure rules, all required seller disclosures, and all listing related addendum. 

UNDERSTANDING INSTANET RE/MAX STYLE

This 1 hour course will help RE/MAX Action Agents understand and better use Instanet. Instanet is our online software for creating and managing contracts.  After this class you'll be able to create listings and contracts online, and have your clients sign electronically using Authentisign. 

GETTING THE MOST OUT OF MATRIX

This 1 hour course will help RE/MAX Action Agents better understand how to use our MLS software - MATRIX.  We'll show you how to search, create auto searches for clients, access tax records, and more.  

USING RE/MAX DESIGN CENTER

This 1 hour course will help you use the RE/MAX Design Center.   This online program automatically creates flyers, fact sheets, postcards, and brochures for your listings. We will demonstrate how to get the most out of the program and to make your marketing materials sizzle.

Sierra Lead Generation 101

The Sierra lead generation system is one of the best in the real estate industry and available to RE/MAX Action Agents.  This is a high level Client Relationship Manager (CRM) program. We'll demonstrate how it can generate referral free leads, help you stay in touch with clients, and much more.  This course is typically 1 hour.

UNDERSTANDING RE/MAX LEADSTREET

LeadStreet is a RE/MAX only lead generation tool that sends referral free leads to you.   This course will help you set up your LeadStreet site so that you can maximize the leads from visitors to REMAX.com. 

BUSINESS PLANNING 101

Success is planned not accidental.  Our business planning session will help you build a winning business plan with predictable results. We have a proprietary online business planner and we will work with you to create a customized business plan, including your business budget, desired income goals, and a plan to get you there.

MOCK HOME BUYING SEMINAR

Home buying seminars are a great tool to build your business. We have created a seminar for our agents to use and this is a "Mock Buyers' Seminar" to help them learn how to conduct their own seminar.  RE/MAX Action agents will receive a copy of our proprietary seminar at the conclusion of the class.  This is a 3 hour course.

USING TOOLKIT CMA

Tookkit CMA is one of the best CMA programs in the industry. RE/MAX Action agents can lease this program through the company for only $8 a month with no annual contracts. We will explain how to use the RE/MAX Branded CMA program so that your listing presentations are professional. This is a 1 hour course.

HOW TO CONDUCT A LISTING PRESENTATION

Every wondered what the heavy hitters do in a listing presentation?  In this 1 hour course we will go into detail on how to create a winning listing presentation, how to act during your presentation, and how to handle seller objections.  We will describe the two-step listing appointment which will change the way you list properties.

Throughout the year we have professional from the industries conduct seminars for our agents on topics such as Radon, Mold, Home Warranties, Well and Septic Systems, Termite, Home Inspections and much more. 

HOW TO SURVIVE THE HOME INSPECTION

This course has been submitted to DPOR for approval at its November 7, 2019 Education Committee Meeting.  The course comes with 2 hours of CE (1 hour contract/1 hour real estate related-contracts.  We give you tips on preparing your clients (buyers and sellers) for the home inspection, setting proper expectations, understanding what our real estate contract allows regarding inspections, and more.

UNDERSTANDING STATISTICS USING REDATUM

Richmond agents have a powerful took call REDATUM, which is a statistical program that provides eye popping charts and graphs that will help you and your clients understand the market. Want to graphically explain to a buyer the best time to buy?  What to explain the best time to sell?  REDATUM is a powerful tool and our 1 hour class will really empower you with new strategies on working with your clients. This is not a CE approved class.
